How to discuss Le Chatelier's Principle from direct observation of energy changes ?

The experiment involved recording of temperature, after adding HCl into distilled water. The experiment is then repeated by replacing the distilled water with CuSO4. I haven't learn Le Chatelier's Principle yet in cl. I need some guidance. What can be concluded from the observation as both results show temperature increases with time ?
