Why is my central heating comming on when i put the hot water on?

Do anybody know why my central heating comes on when i put the timer to hot water only,and it will not switch off when i turn the hallway thermostat to 0.I just got a new vaillant 428 condencing boiler fitted and new timer also fitted.I had the c plumber back, but it is still comming on with the hot water
