Katana sword repair question plz help?

hey i bought a new masahiro Shadow warrior katana sword its made of the 1065 carbon steal, and today i was just doing some cutting with it on a normal plastic water bottle and it didn't even cut it throw, an accidentally my dog was getting in the way so i had to redirect the sword strike away very fast and it hit a big wooden bar which made the KISSAKI and BOSHI or the tip edge of the sword get slightly bent, not the whole kissaki just small part of its edge. so plz can you help me and tell me what can i do to fix this problem, is it gonna need to be sharpened or is it ruined like that. and if so tell me what is the 2nd best way to sharpen a sword other than using the water stones, cuz they take a lot of experience to use them correctly. so should i send it to a blacksmith to do it or would they ruin it, cuz am scared they might ruin the blade geometry. plz help me. and by the way masahiro swords suck they cant make a clean cut through light plastic on the other hand musashi swords are way much better.
